Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Monday, gaining 142 points (+1.3%) to close at the 11,489 level. TASI opened 41 points higher than the previous closing level. The index then jumped nearly 100 points during the first hour and remained stable in the green zone. In general, 19 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 216 shares rose while 28 fell. Banks (+0.9%), Materials (+1.7%), and Energy (+2.1%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Aramco (+2.2%), Al Rajhi Bank (+0.9%), and Sabic (+3.1%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume and value of 98% and 85% respectively, to reach 315mn shares and SAR6.1bn in value traded.
