Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Thursday, dropping by -33 points (-0.3%) to close at 11,859. The index opened one point higher than its previous close, continued to rise slightly, then stabilized for a while. After that, it gradually declined until the end of the session, closing at its lowest point. Overall, 16 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 143 shares fell and 78 rose. Banks (-0.3%), Media (-3.0%), and Energy (-0.4%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, Aramco (-0.4%), Al Rajhi Bank (-0.3%), and Saudi Research (-3.9%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume by -52% to reach 457mn shares, while the value increased by 0.3% to reach SAR2.8bn in value traded.
