Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Sunday, gaining 5 points (+0.05%) to close at 10,817.01. The index opened 2 points above its previous close, but before closing it faced selling pressure, yet remained in the green zone. Overall, 8 out of 18 sectors closed in the green zone, and 102 shares rose while 160 fell. Household & Personal Products Index (+0.3%), Materials (+1.0%), and Banks (+0.3%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Maaden (+1.9%), Saudi Aramco (+0.4%), and Alrajhi (+0.3%) were the major contributors to the index rise. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -27% and -43%, respectively, to reach 186mn shares and SAR 3.2bn in value traded.
