Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose for the fifth consecutive day on Monday, gaining 68 points (+0.6%) to close at 10,876. The trading session opened 6 points below the previous close, then experienced minor fluctuations before gradually rising until the end of the session. Overall, 10 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 101 shares rose while 146 fell. Banks (+1.2%), Materials (+0.8%), and Telecommunications (+1.1%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Saudi National Bank (+1.6%), Al Rajhi Bank (+0.5%), and Maaden (+2.2%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume of -4% to reach 261mn shares, while the value rose by 9% to reach SAR5.1bn in value traded.
