Market Wrap International:

U.S. stocks fell as a surge in Treasury yields weighed heavily on growth shares, while a court ruling challenging Trump-era tariffs added uncertainty. The S&P 500 (-0.7%), Dow Jones (-0.5%), and Nasdaq (-0.8%) all closed lower, with Nvidia, Amazon, and Apple leading the declines.

European markets dropped as long-term borrowing costs in the U.K., France, and Germany hit multi-decade highs, intensifying pressure on banks and exporters. The DAX              (-2.3%), FTSE 100 (-0.9%), CAC 40 (-0.7%), and Euro STOXX 600 (-1.5%) ended sharply lower.

Asian markets were mixed. The Shanghai Composite (-0.4%) and Hang Seng (-0.5%) weakened on persistent property-sector concerns, while South Korea’s Kospi (+0.9%) gained on semiconductor strength and Japan’s Nikkei 225 (+0.3%) edged higher despite domestic political uncertainty
