Tadawul Review:

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Sunday, losing -46 ‎‎points (0.4%) to close at 11,439. The index opened 7 points higher and stayed positive during the first 30 minutes, but then came under selling pressure and gradually declined, ending the day with losses. Overall, 14 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 153 shares fell and 85 rose. Banks (-‎‎0.6%), Real Estate (1.6%), and Materials (-0.5%) sector contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, Al Rajhi Bank (-0.9%), Saudi National Bank (-1%), and ACWA ‎‎Power (-1%) were the major contributors. The trading ‎‎activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -33% ‎‎and -30%, respectively, to reach 158mn shares and SAR3.7bn ‎‎in value traded.

 

 

Market Wrap International:

This week, investor focus will turn to several key economic indicators across major economies. On Monday, the Eurozone releases its April CPI, followed by the UK’s inflation print on Wednesday. The U.S. will publish its S&P Global Services and Manufacturing PMIs for May on Thursday, providing fresh insights into business activity. To cap off the week, Germany will report its first-quarter GDP figures on Friday.
