Tadawul Review:

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Thursday, gaining 29 points (+0.27%) to close at 11,042.02. The index opened 3 points below its previous close, but before closing it faced selling pressure, yet remained in the green zone. Overall, 14 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 140 shares rose while 112 fell. Materials (+0.7%), Utilities (+1.3%), and Telecommunication Services (+0.9%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Saudi Aramco (+0.4%), ACWA Power (+1.4%), and STC (+0.8%) were the major contributors to the index rise. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -10% and -15%, respectively, to reach 214mn shares and SAR 4.9bn in value traded.

Market Wrap International:  

U.S. equities ended higher as strong investor demand for SpaceX's record-setting IPO reinforced confidence in growth sectors and capital markets, while easing oil prices and optimism surrounding Middle East diplomacy further supported risk appetite. Technology and innovation-focused shares remained in focus after SpaceX's market debut lifted sentiment toward high-growth companies and future IPO candidates. Broader participation across cyclical sectors also contributed to gains as investors balanced corporate developments against the Federal Reserve outlook. The S&P 500 rose 0.5%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.7%, and the NASDAQ advanced 0.3%.

European equities ended higher as improving global risk sentiment and lower energy prices supported cyclical sectors, while investors also assessed the implications of potential easing in Middle East tensions. Technology, industrial, and financial shares led gains across the region, helping major benchmarks recover recent losses and reinforcing confidence in the economic outlook. The FTSE 100 rose 1.6%, the DAX gained 1.8%, the CAC 40 advanced 1.8%, and the EURO STOXX 600 increased 1.9%.

Asian markets are trading higher as stronger global risk appetite, easing concerns over energy markets, and renewed interest in technology and export-oriented shares supported regional equities. South Korean stocks outperformed on gains in semiconductor and growth sectors, while Japanese equities benefited from a weaker yen and improved sentiment toward exporters. Chinese and Hong Kong markets also advanced as investors responded positively to improving external conditions and stronger participation in technology shares. The SHCOMP rose 1.1%, the KOSPI gained 4.6%, the Nikkei 225 advanced 2.8%, and the Hang Seng increased 1.9%.
