Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Monday, dropping 176 points (-1.60%) to close at 10,830.73. The index opened 31 points above its previous close, but it recovered some losses before the close; however, it still ended in the red zone. Overall, 17 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, and 42 shares rose while 218 fell. Financial Services (-3.4%), Transportation (-3.3%), and Consumer Services (-3.3%) sectors contributed the most to the index decline. Stockwise, Alrajhi (-3.9%), SNB (-4.5%), and Maaden (-3.8%) were the major contributors to the index decline. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume of +22% to reach 344mn shares, and value witnessed an increase of +27% to reach SAR 7.1bn in value traded.
