Market Wrap International:
Global equities advanced modestly last week as strong U.S. technology earnings and easing Treasury yields lifted sentiment, while the Federal Reserve’s cautious stance kept optimism in check. In the U.S., resilient corporate results reinforced confidence in growth despite uncertainty over rate cuts. European markets were supported by softer inflation and solid earnings but constrained by fiscal concerns and a restrained ECB outlook. In Asia, hopes of Chinese policy support, a weaker dollar, and improving trade data buoyed sentiment, though foreign outflows and currency pressures tempered gains.
