Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Tuesday, dropping by 18 points (-0.1%) to close at 12,301. The index opened 5 points lower than its previous close and continued to decline until the middle of the session, after which it began to rise until the end of the session. 12 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 128 shares fell and 108 rose. Utilities (-2.5%), Materials (-0.5%), and Telecommunications (-0.9%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, ACWA Power (-3.2%), Etihad Etisalat (-2.5%), and Maaden (-1.3%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -14% and -24% respectively, to reach 219mn shares and SAR5.3bn in value traded.
