Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Tuesday, gaining 99 points (+0.98%) to close at 10,930. The index opened 47 points below its previous close, but before closing it faced selling pressure, yet remained in the green zone. Overall, 17 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 180 shares rose while 80 fell. Insurance (+3.1%), Banks (+2.7%), and Real Estate Management & Development (+2.1%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Alrajhi (+2.4%), SNB (+4.6%), and Albilad (+3.7%) were the major contributors to the index rise. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -29% and -27%, respectively, to reach 243mn shares and SAR 5.2bn in value traded.
