Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Sunday, gaining 38 points (+0.3%) to close at the 10,905 level. TASI started the session positively, opening with a rise of 44 points. It continued to increase until the middle of the session, then began to decline toward the end. Despite the decline, it closed in the green zone. In general, 15 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 183 shares rose while 65 fell. Materials (+0.7%), Utilities (+1.6%), and Energy (+0.7%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Aramco (+0.7%), ACWA Power (+1.6%), and SIIG (+0.7%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -21% and -21%, respectively, to reach 228mn shares and SAR4.1bn in value traded.
