Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Wednesday, gaining 131 points (+1.19%) to close at 11,079.93. The index opened 4 points above its previous close, but before closing it faced selling pressure, yet remained in the green zone. Overall, 21 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 244 shares rose while 17 fell. Financial Services (+3.0%), Commercial & Professional Services (+2.6%), and Consumer Services (+2.6%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, SNB (+2.1%), Saudi Aramco (+0.8%), and Alinma (+3.5%) were the major contributors to the index rise. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -22% and -33%, respectively, to reach 262mn shares and SAR 5.7bn in value traded.
