Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Sunday, dropping 79 points (-0.71%) to close at 11,158.54. The index opened 4 points above its previous close, but it recovered some losses before the close; however, it still ended in the red zone. Overall, 15 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, and 90 shares rose while 172 fell. Banks (-0.8%), Materials (-1.5%), and Telecommunication Services (-0.9%) sectors contributed the most to the index decline. Stockwise, Maaden (-3.3%), Alrajhi (-0.7%), and SNB (-1.2%) were the major contributors to the index decline. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -23% and -31%, respectively, to reach 192mn shares and SAR 3.5bn in value traded.
