Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Wednesday, gaining 14 points (+0.13%) to close at 10,925.69. The index opened 1 points above its previous close, but before closing it faced selling pressure, yet remained in the green zone. Overall, 11 out of 22 sectors closed in the green zone, and 123 shares rose while 130 fell. Banks (+0.2%), Real Estate Mgmt & Dev't (+1.3%), and Energy (+0.2%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, BSF (+2.4%), Saudi Aramco (+0.2%), and RIBL (+1.0%) were the major contributors to the index rise. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -27% and -24%, respectively, to reach 202mn shares and SAR 3.7bn in value traded.
