Tadawul Review: ‎

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Thursday, dropping 22 points (-0.20%) to close at 11,237.93. The index opened 8 points above its previous close, but it recovered some losses before the close; however, it still ended in the red zone. Overall, 11 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, and 143 shares rose while 115 fell. Banks (-0.7%), Materials (-0.2%), and Real Estate Mgmt & Dev't (-0.2%) sectors contributed the most to the index decline. Stockwise, Alrajhi (-1.0%), Maaden (-1.0%), and ACWA (-0.7%) were the major contributors to the index decline. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -19% and -11%, respectively, to reach 250mn shares and SAR 5.1bn in value traded.
