Tadawul Review:

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Thursday, gaining 36 points (+0.3%) to close at 10,450. The index opened 12 points above its previous close but showed some fluctuation for a few hours before gradually increasing until the end of the session. Overall, 9 out of ‎‎21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 100 shares rose while 154 fell. Materials (+1.5%), Banks (+0.4%), and Energy (+0.‏3‏%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Maaden (+4.0%), Saudi National Bank (+1.1%), and Al Rajhi Bank (+0.4%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume and value of 41% and 69%, respectively, to reach 211mn shares and SAR5.9bn in value traded.

 

 

 

Market Wrap International:

U.S. equities ended higher as major benchmarks climbed on Friday after a rebound in technology and AI-linked stocks helped sustain gains, and softer inflation data supported expectations for future monetary easing. Tech-heavy names drove broader market strength while consumer and industrial segments also contributed modestly to upside. The S&P 500 rose 0.9%, the Dow Jones increased 0.4%, and the NASDAQ gained 1.3%, reflecting broad participation in the rally.

European equities ended higher with markets advancing across major bourses as investors tracked monetary policy signals and positive sentiment from U.S. markets. Gains were led by cyclical sectors and financial stocks, while defensive segments lagged slightly. The FTSE 100 climbed 0.6%, the DAX rose 0.4%, the CAC 40 edged up 0.01%, and the EURO STOXX 600 increased ‎‎0.4% on the session.

 

Asian markets ended higher as regional stocks respond favorably to global cues, including the Bank of Japan’s rate decision and improved risk sentiment from overseas. Japanese equities led the region, with other benchmarks also advancing on the day. The SHCOMP gained 0.4%, the KOSPI rose 0.7%, the NIKKEI 225 increased 1.0%, and the Hang Seng climbed 0.8% in ongoing trade.
