 Market Wrap International:

U.S. equities ended the week lower as investor hopes for a near-term Federal Reserve rate cut faded. Mixed labour-market data bolstered caution, while strong corporate earnings provided some offset, resulting in an overall cautious tone. In Europe, markets lagged amid continued inflationary pressures, rising global bond yields and a stronger dollar. The European Central Bank reiterated that policy easing is not imminent, reinforcing the cautious sentiment. While Asian markets faced pressure from weak Chinese export and manufacturing data and a weakening Japanese yen, which amplified concerns about growth dynamics and regional fiscal risks.
