 Market Wrap International:

U.S. equities ended lower as rising global bond yields and a sharp pullback in crypto-linked assets softened risk appetite after recent gains. Higher Treasury yields, supported by firmer global rate expectations, pressured long-duration growth and technology names, while a pause in the broader rally kept investors cautious ahead of upcoming U.S. data and the next Federal Reserve decision. The S&P 500 slipped -0.5%, the NASDAQ Composite fell -0.4%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined -0.9%.

European equities followed the global risk-off tone, with defensive strength only partly offsetting broader softness. Industrials and defence names weighed on regional benchmarks, while investors locked in profits after November gains and digested weaker sentiment across international markets. The EURO STOXX 600 edged down -0.2%, the FTSE 100 dipped -0.2%, the DAX fell -1.0%, and the CAC 40 declined -0.3%.

Asian markets were mixed as the region absorbed higher global yield pressures alongside local currency moves. Mainland Chinese and Hong Kong benchmarks outperformed, while Japan and South Korea lagged amid policy uncertainty and sensitivity to rate conditions. The SHCOMP rose 0.7%, the Hang Seng gained 0.7%, the Nikkei 225 fell -1.9%, and the KOSPI slipped -0.2%.
