Market Wrap International:

Global markets closed last week higher as renewed optimism over Federal Reserve rate cuts and softer U.S. labor data lifted risk appetite, sending Wall Street to fresh record highs led by technology and growth shares, though uncertainty over fiscal negotiations and inflation trends kept investors cautious.

European equities tracked the U.S. advance, supported by easing rate expectations and stronger corporate sentiment, while persistent cost pressures and political risks tempered gains.

In Asia, sentiment was mixed as Japan surged on expectations of fiscal stimulus and a weaker yen, while China and Hong Kong lagged on property-sector concerns and subdued manufacturing activity, leaving the region uneven to close the week.
