Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Sunday, gaining 36 points (+0.3%) to close at 12,469. The trading session began negatively, with a 5-point decrease compared to the previous close, and continued to slightly decrease until the middle of the session before starting to rise until the end. In general, 11 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 94 shares rose while 134 fell. Banks (+0.9%), Health care equipment and services (+0.6%), and Utilities (+0.2%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Al Rajhi Bank (+1.3%), Bank AlBilad (+2.8%), and Saudi National Bank (+0.7%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -22% and -32%, respectively, to reach 228mn shares and SAR4.7bn in value traded.
