Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Tuesday, dropping by -18 points (-0.2%) to close at 10,832. The trading session began on a positive note with a 25-point increase over the previous close. It then experienced fluctuations until mid-session, after which it gradually declined and closed at the lowest point of the day. Overall, 11 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 106 shares fell and 123 rose. Banks (-0.4%), Energy (-0.7%), and Health care equipment and services (-1.2%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, Al Rajhi Bank (-0.4%), Sulaiman Al Habib (-1.7%), and Elm Co. (-2.4%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -2% and -12%, respectively, to reach 170mn shares and SAR3.5bn in value traded.
