Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Thursday, gaining 9 points (+0.1%) to close at 12,098. The trading session began positively, rising by 5 points compared to the previous close, then started to gradually decline during the first hour. After that, it rebounded and continued to increase until the end of the session. In general, 10 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 96 shares rose while 133 fell. Banks (+0.5%), Health care equipment and services (+2.8%), and Telecommunications (+0.3%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Sulaiman Al Habib (+3.9%), Alinma Bank (+1.7%), and Bank AlBilad (+2.5%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume by -33% to reach 359mn shares, while the value increased by 7% to reach SAR7.4bn in value traded.
