Market Wrap International:

Global markets closed last week higher after the Federal Reserve delivered its first rate cut of the year, boosting risk appetite and sending U.S. benchmarks to record levels led by technology and growth shares, though the Fed’s cautious tone kept inflation and labor concerns in focus. European equities tracked the U.S. momentum but gains were capped by lingering cost pressures and fiscal worries. In Asia, markets lost ground as renewed foreign outflows, trade tensions, and currency weakness weighed on sentiment, leaving the SHCOMP, Kospi, Nikkei, and Hang Seng all lower to close the week.
