Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Thuresday, losing 55 points (-0.5%) to close at the 11,902 level. The session opened 4 points lower than the previous closing level, and started to gradually decline throughout the end of the session. In general, 16 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, and 159 shares fell while 68 rose. Banks (-0.7%), Insurance (-1.8%), and Utilities (-1.0%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, Al Rajhi Bank (-0.9%), ACWA Power (-1.2%), and Saudi National Bank (-0.9%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed an a huge increase in volume by 173% and noticeable decrease in value by -14.3%, to reach 1.4bn shares and SAR4.7bn in value traded.
