Tadawul Review:

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Thursday, gaining 18 points (+0.2%) to close at 10,473. The index opened slightly below its previous close and dropped sharply by about 70 points in the opening minutes. It then began to recover, moving into positive territory before experiencing some fluctuations until the close. In general, 7 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 72 shares rose while 183 fell. Banks (+0.7%), Energy ‎‎(+0.4%), and Retailing (+0.7%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Al Rajhi Bank ‎‎(+0.6%), Saudi Bahri (+10.0%), and Aramco (+0.3%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -28% and -32%, respectively, to reach 201mn shares and SAR4.1bn in value traded.

 

 

 

Market Wrap International:

U.S. equities ended higher as broad market buying persisted, supported by gains across big-cap technology and cyclical sectors. The S&P 500 rose 0.6%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.5%, and the NASDAQ Composite climbed ‎‎0.8%, reflecting continued risk appetite amid strong earnings signals and optimism about economic resilience.

European equities ended firmer with major continental gauges bouncing as investor confidence improved in cyclical stocks and financials. The FTSE 100 advanced 0.8%, the DAX rose 0.5%, the CAC 40 gained 1.4%, and the EURO STOXX 600 increased ‎‎1.0%, with markets broadly participating in the rally.

 

Asian markets are trading higher as positive global cues lift risk sentiment across the region. China’s SHCOMP has climbed around 0.9%, South Korea’s KOSPI is up 0.7%, Japan’s NIKKEI ‎‎225 has jumped 1.6%, and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng has gained ‎‎0.3%, with technology and export-oriented sectors leading regional outperformance.
