Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Thursday, gaining 115 points (+1%) to close at the 11,244 level. TASI started the session positively, opening with an 13 point rise, and gradually increase throughout the session to close in the green territory. In general, 14 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 137 shares rose while 109 fell. Banks (+2.0%), Materials (+0.7%), and Telecommunications (+1.1%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Saudi National Bank (+4.1%), Al Rajhi Bank (+1.4%), and Aramco (+0.9%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed an decrease in volume by -6% to reach 310mn shares, while the value increase by 4% to reach SAR5.6bn in value traded.
