Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Thursday, dropping by 24 points (-0.2%) to close at the 12,415 level. TASI started the session positively, opening with a gain of 11 points, but then fluctuated until the end of the session, closing in the red zone. Overall, 14 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 139 shares fell and 89 rose. Banks (-0.6%), Utilities (-0.6%), and Insurance (-0.7%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, Al Rajhi Bank (-1.4%), Alinma Bank (-2.3%), and ACWA Power (-0.8%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -16% and -27%, respectively, to reach 274mn shares and SAR6.4bn in value traded.
