Tadawul Review:

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Thursday, increasing by 55 points (0.46%) to close at 12,025. TASI started the session on a positive note, opening 3 points higher than the previous close, and continued to steadily rise until the end of the session. Overall, 18 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, while 188 shares rose and 52 fell. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -13% and -3%, respectively, to reach 251mn shares and SAR6 bn in value traded.

 

 

Market Wrap International:

U.S. stocks climbed on Wednesday in another volatile session as investors braced for the anticipated rollout of President Trump’s tariffs. The S&P 500’s Consumer Discretionary (+2.02%), Industrials (+0.93%), and Financials (+0.9%) sectors led the gains. The S&P 500 rose by 0.7%, the Nasdaq increased by 0.9%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced by 0.6%.

European stocks declined on Wednesday, pressured by losses in healthcare shares, as investors remained cautious ahead of President Trump’s tariff announcement. The CAC 40 slipped 0.2%, the Euro STOXX 600 edged down 0.5%, the FTSE 100 declined 0.3%, and the DAX lost 0.7%.

Asian markets ended mixed on Wednesday as investors weighed global economic uncertainties, leading to uneven performances across major indices. The SHCOMP rose by 0.1%, and the Nikkei 225 climbed by 0.3%, while the Hang Seng fell 0.02%, and the KOSPI finished lower by 0.6%.
