Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Tuesday, dropping by 10 points (-0.1%) to close at 12,370. The index opened 14 points higher than its previous close, then faced fluctuations until the end of the session, closing in the red zone. Overall, 8 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 97 shares fell and 133 rose. Utilities (-2.9%), Food and beverages (-1.0%), and Energy (-0.5%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, ACWA Power (-3.5%), Aramco (-0.5%), and Saudi National Bank (-1.0%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume and value of 5% and 8% respectively, to reach 293mn shares and SAR6.9bn in value traded.
