Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Sunday, dropping by 24 points (-0.2%) to close at 11,253. The index opened 2 points higher than its previous closing level, then gradually declined until the end of the session. Overall, 12 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 148 shares fell and 98 rose. Utilities (-1.7%), Real Estate (-0.9%), and Materials (-0.3%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, ACWA Power (-2.4%), Aramco (-0.3%), and Sabic (-1.3%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -12% and -19%, respectively, to reach 255mn shares and SAR4.0bn in value traded.

This week, key economic data will be released, starting with China’s Q2 GDP (YoY) on Monday, July 14, 2025. On Tuesday, July 15, the US will publish June’s CPI (YoY) and Core CPI (MoM), followed by the UK’s CPI (YoY) for June on Wednesday, July 16. Finally, on Thursday, July 17, the US will release Core Retail Sales (MoM) for June, while the Eurozone will unveil its June CPI (YoY).
