Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Sunday, dropping by -42 points (-0.4%) to close at 10,965. The index opened 14 points higher than its previous closing level, then gradually declined throughout the session until the close. Overall, 16 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 182 shares fell and 65 rose. Materials (-0.8%), Banks (-0.2%), and Telecommunications (-1.1%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, Saudi National Bank (-0.8%), Maaden (-1.3%), and Etihad Etisalat (-2.2%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume by 27% to reach 324mn shares, while the value decreased by -23% to reach SAR3.2bn in value traded.
