Market Wrap International:

U.S. markets closed higher on Friday, driven by inflation data that broadly matched expectations, which eased some pressure on aggressive Fed tightening bets. The S&P 500 rose ‎‎0.6%, the Dow Jones gained 0.7%, and the Nasdaq added ‎‎0.4%.

In Europe, sentiment was positive across the board, with strength in industrials, energy, and financials offsetting concerns about inflation and global growth. The FTSE 100 rose 0.8%, the DAX gained 0.9%, the CAC climbed 1.0%, and the Euro Stoxx 600 was up 0.8%.
