Market Wrap International:

Global equities ended last week mixed, with sentiment largely driven by expectations of a Federal Reserve rate cut. In the U.S., weak labor data reinforced concerns about slowing growth, though optimism over easier policy and strength in technology tempered the downside. European markets were restrained, as higher bond yields and fragile economic indicators kept investors cautious, while in Asia, robust inflows and gains in semiconductor shares supported performance, even as ongoing strains in China’s property sector limited momentum.
