Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Tuesday, dropping by -79 points (-0.6%) to close at the 12,182 level. TASI started the session positively, opening with a gain of 5 points, but gradually declined until the end of the session. Overall, 19 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 143 shares fell and 79 rose. Banks (-1.0%), Utilities (-0.9%), and Materials (-0.4%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, Al Rajhi Bank (-0.7%), ACWA Power (-1.4%), and Saudi National Bank (-1.5%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -8% and -9%, respectively, to reach 322mn shares and SAR8.4bn in value traded.
