Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Tuesday, gaining 142 points (+1.30%) to close at 11,115.37. The index opened 12 points above its previous close, but before closing it faced selling pressure, yet remained in the green zone. Overall, 18 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 203 shares rose while 53 fell. Banks (+1.7%), Utilities (+5.3%), and Real Estate Management & Development (+1.9%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, SNB (+4.2%), ACWA Power (+7.7%), and Alrajhi (+0.9%) were the major contributors to the index rise. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume and value of +17% and +33%, respectively, to reach 316mn shares and SAR 7.6bn in value traded.

The FTSE 100 declined -1.4%, the DAX fell -0.7%, the EURO STOXX 600 dropped -0.5%, while the CAC 40 rose 0.1%.
Asian markets ended mostly higher as investors returned to selected technology and artificial-intelligence-related shares after recent volatility, while improving sentiment toward regional growth supported mainland Chinese, Japanese and South Korean equities. Semiconductor-related stocks helped drive gains in several markets, although trading remained selective as investors continued to monitor global interest-rate expectations and geopolitical developments. The SHCOMP gained 1.3%, the KOSPI advanced 8.2%, the Nikkei 225 rose 2.2%, while the Hang Seng declined -0.4%.
