Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Monday, dropping 31 points (-0.28%) to close at 11,127.08. The index opened 5 points above its previous close, but it recovered some losses before the close; however, it still ended in the red zone. Overall, 17 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, and 85 shares rose while 177 fell. Materials (-1.0%), Health Care Equipment & Svc (-1.3%), and Energy (-0.3%) sectors contributed the most to the index decline. Stockwise, Alrajhi (-0.5%), Maaden (-1.9%), and Saudi Aramco (-0.3%) were the major contributors to the index decline. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume and value of +126% and +192%, respectively, to reach 436mn shares and SAR 10.3bn in value traded.
