Market Wrap International:

U.S. equities ended higher as easing geopolitical tensions reduced concerns over energy supply disruptions and inflation pressures, sending oil prices lower and improving risk appetite across global markets. The rally was reinforced by strong gains in technology, AI, and semiconductor shares, supporting broader growth-sector sentiment. The NASDAQ rose 3.1%, the S&P 500 gained 1.7%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 0.9%.

European equities ended mixed as improving global risk sentiment supported continental markets, while lower oil prices benefited airlines, automakers, and other energy-sensitive sectors. Investors also responded positively to easing inflation concerns, helping major European benchmarks remain near record levels, although weakness in energy shares weighed on the UK market. The FTSE 100 fell 0.4%, the DAX gained 1.1%, the CAC 40 advanced 0.4%, and the EURO STOXX 600 rose 0.2%.

Asian markets ended higher as easing geopolitical tensions, lower oil prices, and strong gains in U.S. technology stocks fueled broad-based buying across the region. Technology, semiconductor, and export-oriented shares led advances, while improving global growth sentiment encouraged investors to increase risk exposure. The KOSPI surged 5.2%, the Nikkei 225 jumped 5.0%, the SHCOMP gained 1.6%, and the Hang Seng advanced 0.5%.
