Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Thuresday, losing 16 points (-0.1%) to close at the 11,886 level. The session opened 17 points lower than the previous closing level and started to gradually decline throughout the end of the session. In general, 13 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, and 161 shares fell while 59 rose. Banks (-0.2%), Real Estate (-0.9%), and Materials (-0.3%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, Alinma Bank (-1.2%), Saudi National Bank (-0.6%), and Makkah Construction (-3.0%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a significant decrease in volume by -44% and slight decrease in value by -7%, to reach 768mn shares and SAR4.7bn in value traded.
