Tadawul Review:

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Tuesday, slipping 137 points (-1.3%) to close at 10,453. The index opened 11 points above its previous close, then declined throughout the session to close at its lowest point. In general, 21 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 235 shares fell and 25 rose. Banks (-1.4%), Materials (-1.7%), and Energy (-1.0%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, Al Rajhi Bank (-2.1%), Aramco (-1.0%), and Maaden (-1.9%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume and value of 3% and ‎‎15%, respectively, to reach 155mn shares and SAR3.6bn in value traded.

The FTSE 100 declined -0.7%, the DAX fell -0.6%, the CAC dropped            -0.2%, and the EURO STOXX 600 eased -0.5%, showing a broadly weaker session across major European benchmarks.

Asian markets are trading weaker as regional equities extended losses following mixed U.S. leads and investor caution ahead of key macro releases. Weakness in technology and export-related sectors pressured markets, with China’s Shanghai Composite down sharply and broader sentiment subdued. The SHCOMP declined -1.1%, the KOSPI fell -2.2%, the NIKKEI 225 dropped -‎‎1.6%, and the Hang Seng slid -1.5%, reflecting broad weakness across major Asian benchmarks as risk assets came under pressure.
