Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Thursday, dropping by 38 points (-0.3%) to close at 10,946. TASI started the session on a positive note, opening with a gain of 13 points, but declined for a few hours and remained stable in the red zone for the rest of the session. Overall, 11 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 137 shares fell and 112 rose. Banks (-0.5%), Energy (-0.7%), and Utilities (-1.3%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, Aramco (-0.7%), Al Rajhi Bank (-0.7%), and ACWA Power (-1.1%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -5% and -8%, respectively, to reach 536mn shares and SAR4.9bn in value traded.

European stocks slipped as investors digested mixed earnings and awaited progress on a potential EU–U.S. trade deal. The Euro STOXX 600 dropped by -0.3%, the DAX decreased by -0.3%, and the FTSE 100 saw a decline of -0.2%, while the CAC 40 rose by 0.2%.
Asian stocks were mostly lower as momentum faded, with investors cautious ahead of a key week of U.S. tariff decisions, Big Tech earnings, and central bank meetings. The KOSPI gained by 0.2%, while the SHCOMP decreased by -0.3%, NIKKEI 225 declined by -0.9%, and the Hang Seng posting a drop of -1.1%.
