In general, 18 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 176 shares rose while 51 fell. Banks (+0.4%), Materials (+0.7%), and Capital goods (+4.9%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Saudi National Bank (+1.9%), ACWA Power (+1.5%), and Aramco (+0.4%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume and value of 4% and 7%, respectively, to reach 365mn shares and SAR5.8bn in value traded.
