Tadawul Review:

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose for the sixth ‎‎consecutive day on Wednesday, gaining 52 points (+0.47%) ‎‎to close at ‎‎10,945. The index opened slightly above its previous close, then fell into the negative territory and gradually increasing ‎‎through to the end of the session. In general, 6 out of ‎‎‎21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 90 shares rose while 171 fell. Banks ‎‎(+1.1%), Materials (+0.7%), and ‎‎ Utilities (+1.4%) sectors contributed the most to the ‎‎index rise. Stockwise, Al Rajhi Bank ‎‎(+1.0%), Saudi National bank ‎‎‎(+1.7%), and ACWA Power ‎‎(+2.7%) were the major ‎‎contributors. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume and value of 34% and 13%, ‎‎respectively, to reach 374mn shares and SAR9.2bn in value traded.

The FTSE ‎‎100 slightly fell by -0.03%, the DAX rose 0.1%, the CAC declined -0.14%, and the EURO STOXX 600 slipped -0.1%, reflecting cautious positioning ahead of regional earnings and data releases. European sentiment mirrored U.S. risk aversion, while some defensive sectors provided mild support amid broader hesitancy.

Asian markets are trading with a divergence between strong gains in Japan and broader mixed performance across the region as global risk sentiment remains uneven. The Nikkei 225 advanced 3.1%, the KOSPI rose 1.5%, and the Hang Seng climbed 0.9%, while the Shanghai Composite SHCOMP eased -‎‎0.6% on renewed profit-taking after recent rallies. Japanese equities led Asian performance on record highs and positive domestic flows, while Chinese benchmarks lagged amid selective sector consolidation.
