Tadawul Review: 

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Sunday, dropping by 6 points (-0.1%) to close at the 12,410 level. TASI started the session positively, opening with a gain of 12 points, but then fluctuated throughout the session, closing at its lowest point. Overall, 11 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 118 shares fell and 108 rose. Utilities (-0.8%), Real Estate (-0.4%), and Energy (-0.2%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, ACWA Power (-1.0%), Al Rajhi Bank (-0.2%), and Bank AlBilad (-1.6%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -13% and -21%, respectively, to reach 238mn shares and SAR5.0bn in value traded.

China will release its January CPI on Saturday, which will be an important indicator for inflation trends and could offer insights into the country’s economic health.
