Tadawul Review:

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Monday, gaining 60 points (+0.55%) to close at 10,946. The index opened 14 points above its previous close, but before closing it faced selling pressure, yet remained in the green zone. Overall, 16 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 196 shares rose while 64 fell. Media and Entertainment (+2.9%), Real Estate Management & Development (+1.8%), and Software & Services (+1.7%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, BSF (+3.2%), SNB (+1.0%), and Jabal OMAR (+4.2%) were the major contributors to the index rise. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume and value of +67% and +109%, respectively, to reach 255mn shares and SAR 6.3bn in value traded.

 

 

 

Market Wrap International:

U.S. equities ended higher as a rebound in technology shares and easing oil prices supported risk appetite, while investors positioned ahead of central bank meetings shaping the policy outlook. Strength in major technology names helped drive gains across benchmarks despite ongoing macro uncertainty. The S&P 500 rose 1.0%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.8%, and the NASDAQ advanced 1.2%.

European equities ended higher, tracking the constructive tone from Wall Street as improved global sentiment supported regional markets. Investors continued to monitor the macroeconomic and policy backdrop while broad-based gains lifted major indices. The FTSE 100 rose 0.6%, the DAX gained 0.5%, the CAC 40 advanced 0.3%, and the EURO STOXX 600 increased 0.4%.

Asian markets are trading mixed as investors reacted to the positive U.S. lead while balancing regional growth concerns and China-related sentiment. Hong Kong and South Korea advanced, while mainland China lagged amid cautious positioning. The Hang Seng rose 1.4% and the KOSPI gained 1.1%, while the SHCOMP declined -0.3% and the Nikkei 225 slipped -0.1%.
