Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Sunday, gaining 124 points (+1.13%) to close at 11,078.68. The index opened 8 points above its previous close, but before closing it faced selling pressure, yet remained in the green zone. Overall, 21 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 184 shares rose while 64 fell. Banks (+1.5%), Materials (+2.1%), and Telecommunication Services (+1.0%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, Alrajhi (+2.1%), Maaden (+4.0%), and SNB (+1.8%) were the major contributors to the index rise. The trading activity witnessed a decrease in volume and value of -14% and -10%, respectively, to reach 224mn shares and SAR 4.6bn in value traded.
