Market Wrap International:

U.S. stocks ended mixed on Wednesday, as selling in technology shares weighed on the broader market amid concerns over elevated AI valuations. Gains in sectors such as finance and energy helped limit the pullback. The Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up 0.04%, the S&P 500 fell -0.2%, and the Nasdaq Composite dropped    -0.7%.

European markets were mixed, with the FTSE 100 advancing 1.1% as gains in globally exposed consumer and healthcare stocks outweighed losses in homebuilders following higher-than-expected U.K. inflation data. The Euro STOXX 600 rose 0.2%, while the DAX fell -0.6% and the CAC eased -0.1% as caution persisted around technology and policy risks.

Asian stocks showed divergence, with the SHCOMP up 1.0% and the Hang Seng adding 0.2% on optimism around easing trade tensions, while the Nikkei 225 slumped -1.5% and the KOSPI lost -0.7% under pressure from regional technology shares linked to U.S. weakness.
