Tadawul Review: ‎

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose on Wednesday, gaining 28 points (+0.25%) to close at 11,259.90. The index opened 2 points above its previous close, but before closing it faced selling pressure, yet remained in the green zone. Overall, 15 out of 21 sectors closed in the green zone, and 166 shares rose while 90 fell. Banks (+0.5%), Telecommunication Services (+1.6%), and Materials (+0.4%) sectors contributed the most to the index rise. Stockwise, SNB (+0.9%), Etihad Etisalat (+3.1%), and Alinma (+1.9%) were the major contributors to the index rise. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume of +1% to reach 307mn shares, while value witnessed a decrease of -6% to reach SAR 5.7bn in value traded.
