Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Tuesday, dropping by -35 points (-0.3%) to close at 11,914. The index opened trading 7 points above its previous close. TASI faced fluctuations during the first half hour, then started to decline gradually until the end of the session. Overall, 17 out of 21 sectors closed in the red zone, while 168 shares fell and 64 rose. Energy (-0.9%), Materials (-0.5%), and Retailing (-1.1%) sectors contributed the most to the index fall. Stockwise, Aramco (-0.9%), Sulaiman Al Habib (-1.3%), and Sabic Agri-Nutrients (-1.8%) were the major contributors. The trading activity witnessed an increase in volume by 283% to reach 745mn shares, while the value decreased by -22% to reach SAR3.8bn in value traded.
