Market Wrap International:

Global markets ended last week lower as renewed U.S.–China trade tensions and cautious Federal Reserve messaging reignited risk aversion, erasing earlier optimism across equities. A wave of tariff announcements and weaker economic data weighed on technology and growth names, while safe-haven demand lifted bonds and gold. European markets followed Wall Street lower amid political strain in France and persistent fiscal worries, and sentiment in Asia softened as China’s trade and currency pressures offset strength in South Korea, leaving global risk appetite subdued into the week’s close.
